Three - May 2009

Hi to all you sprouts out there, here it is - newsletter number three. I am going to keep this short as the next magazine is out at the end of May (and there won't be a June Newsletter, unless there is any breaking news) but there were a couple of things I felt should be out there now.....

London Sci-Fi Week.

All sorts of stuff going on this week (starts today) and over the weekend not least of which is the 'Comedy in Sci-Fi' panel on Sunday which will involve Robert and our good friend Neil Gardiner (of Ladbrooke groove productions - maker of Brightonomicon the radio play) as well as others. After the panel there is a excerpt from the brightonomicon play being performed live!

Check out all that is on offer here

Steampunk Hidden Circus

Hard to believe I know but yes, having completed the panel in london Robert is then hotfooting it back to Brighton as the special guest for the steampunk circus, has this man no limits? Most of the information you need is on the picture. If you are in the area then why not pop along and support?

Pirate Birthday Party

There is more news on this in the up-coming magazine but I wanted to get this information out to you now.....

I met up with Robert and Graham (Hill) last Friday and we went to view out boat for the cruise up the Thames, happy I then booked it!

Take up has been good and we are going to have a fair crowd (though there is capacity for more on the boat) - thanks to the support of all those who booked early and paid their deposit (well done people - no more to pay), the sales of merchandise and the stirling work of the Large 4 crowd we have enough money in the kitty to nail the price at £10 per head - that reduced from the original £25 quoted! Get along to the website and get those tickets bought before they are all gone - and then do me a big favour, bring along all the money I've saved you and spend it on raffle tickets and t-shirts etc so we can afford the August magazine Smiling

As ever - Best Regards

Ian.
