To Your Scattered Bodies Go - Philip José Farmer

Classic series of books from a fine author, you got the rest?
Just recently finished & I really enjoyed it.
No I've not got the rest, I've heard that the 1st one is the best & it tales off afterwards.
What are your oppinions od the following 4 books?
The series does get a little bogged down in places but overall it's well worth reading. There's a lot of sub-stories that weave in and out of the series that all, somehow, get tied together in the 4th book 'The Magic Labyrinth'.
The 5th book 'The Gods of Riverworld' is worth reading too though the series was supposed to end with the 4th book.
There's also various short stories in 'Riverworld and Other Stories', 'Tales of Riverworld' and 'Quest to Riverworld' that are worth hunting down too.
I may be biased though as I like all the P.J. Farmer stuff and have an almost complete collection of his work.
Only 153 posts to this thread eh! Better keep it going then

Just about finished The Atrocity Archive by Charles Stross, which is a mighty fine book indeed if youre of a cuber geek/HP Lovecraft fan. Rather an odd combination I know but it works.
After that I am going to read Greenvoe by George MacKay Brown, because I was told personally that I have to read it by none other than Harlan Ellison. And who am I to argue with one of the greats?
Jasper Fforde - Shades of Grey
And
Tom Holt - Blonde bombshell
And
Robert Rankin - The Japanese Devil Fish Girl and other Unnatural Attractions
You little tinker, I'm still searching for one...
Over half way through Kim Stanley Robinson's - Red Mars
