Anyone here into METAL?

Is on this weekend.

"If I'm so into Metal why aren't I there then" I hear you ask?

Well when it started on 2000 it was a decent Metal Fest, as time has gone on (& certainly in the last couple of years) it has become more & more money oriented (& more & more shit as a result) this year even Download (very-ex Monsters of Rock) had a better line-up Jawdropping!

Decent fest, decent bands, decent organiser. As such I expect it to not sell many tickets & go bust for next year Shocked

It's finally happened that I'm completely out of touch with the metal scene. I only recognise one name on that lineup (Blaze Bailey) and I've seen them and they were unutterably shite. :-/

Don't worry Tim, the Metalfest lineup isn't very representative of Metal in the UK today, many of them are only really popular in Europe (where Metal is better - in my oppinion)
