Had a fine weekend in the smoke with Robert at the LFCC - met THE SHAT
and got a signed photo.....
Oh - and we had the draw for the proof copy

On the upside, if you didn't win you should all be very proud of yourselves. We sold all 50 tickets and raise £500 for our chosen charity, the Stroke Association

Yes, well done, Nick, I have heard just how many tickets you purchased, you certainly deserved to win. Thank you to everyone who generously purchased tickets, we had no need to sell any at the weekend, thanks too to Ian, who bought more than a few to make it up to 50.
Sadly I have no proof of the cover to send (along with the proof book, which does have its own cover, in case this sounds confusing) as the publishers no longer print proof covers (good grief) but send me a message with what you'd like me to write on the proof and your address. I suppose I could cover the cover with a cover of my own. Possibly I could recover the cover used on another cover and re-cover the cover with this cover?

Is there anything planned for a launch bash for those of us who *cough* aren't going to the Asylum convention*cough*?
The following Saturday I will be signing at Forbidden Planet in London, for anyone who is around a beer afterwards would be nice. But that is about all. I might be doing other signings, I haven't heard from the publishers yet.
