Hello there everybody, I see in the new SFX mag, that voting has begun for next year's SFX awards ( I will be hosting the ceremony so come if you can for a really fun weekend). Now the thing is that I would REALLY love to have one of those rayguns, so do you think you could all very kindly vote for my novel THE JAPANESE DEVIL FISH GIRL AND OTHER UNNATURAL ATTRACTIONS?
Make an old author happy.
You know it makes sense.

Did it a while back, the annoying thing is that you seem to have to vote for ALL the awards, I don't even know what the top suggestions are in some of them. You can just put NA but still

I will do my best to organise the many people I know to vote for you. The stealth scottish railway block vote is coming your way!

Re: VOTE FOR THE OLD GEEZER

Thank you so very much. I know it's somewhat sneaky and they might not even give it to me if the votes were double anyone else's because I am presenting the awards and it might look like a REAL FIX
As opposed of course to the UNREAL FIX I am proposing by asking you to vote for me.
It's all quite Machiavellian, isn't it?
I have to say I am really looking forward to the SFX event, it was so much fun this year.
And Andi remained utterly sober throughout, if I recall correctly..........

As sober as I was at the "Beast of a night" in Brentford a while back.......I do remember Robert saying that we were the "naughty table" Laughing out loud
