3 tries in against the all blacks plus another but it was , so not awarded still got beaten though.

Re: Worldcon 2014

Ok so Pete has been trying to sort this as he made the initial payment before it was confirmed in London for both of us (did that make us per-supporting menbers?).

He's since been trying to upgrade us both to full members, but without success (apparently).

But is you look at the Registered Members list:
http://www.loncon3.org/members/registered-members
Under E for Evans (me Andi Evans)
& W for Waldock (him Peter Waldock)

We are both listed... Does that mean we are fully paid up members? If so how if he never upgraded???

Re: Worldcon 2014

You paid the £60 Later at Worldcon in Chicago as they had enough members then they decided not increase the cost .
Registered Members
This list includes everybody who is a member of the convention.

Andi Evans
so you're all finished and done.

Smiling

Re: Worldcon 2014

Ahhh that's good, but (& this is typical timing) Pete has just yesterday managed to pay the additional £25 each to upgrade.

Can we get that money back, will they do it automatically?

Where did / does it say they didn't put the price up & how come you can still pay the £25 upgrade if it's now staying at £60.

Sorry about all the questions

Re: Worldcon 2014

My mistake Andi if you have paid £25 extra that will be the equivlent of the voting fee $40 which I had to pay to vote, which is normal at any Worldcon, your listing on the Membership list must have been when the upgrade went through, as I was thinking you were lucky not to be charged extra as I've never known that to happen, if people had been hanging back to see who was going to win the bid then pay the extra because they either did not pre-support or vote.
So that is now correct.
See you there if not at a sprouty event before then.
