Hello there folks, if you recall, last year I auctioned the one and only signed and personally dedicated proof copy of Necrophenia to raise money for the Stroke Association. A goodly sum was raised too. So, I have now in my possession the first ever proof copy of Retromancer. I will promise that this will be the only signed copy ever and that it will come with a set of one-off prints of the tarot cards (as these are not printed in the proof copy) the money will go to the Stroke Association as this is Neil's choice of charity, and he is making the radio series of this book. And if I can chuck in any other collectables I will. By the by, I really appreciate the generosity of all concerned, this kind of stuff matters.
Cheers and who'll say a tenner?
All the bestest
Robert

Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
And just to stay on track - the current leading bid is with Random and is £150
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
I'm extending this up to next Friday, 18th September, and then will do the 48 Hrs without a bid to ascertain the winner as agreed....
£150? We raised £270 with the Necrophenia proof and I am sure we can match or beat that! This is a truly unique piece of merchandise, the one and only, ever, proof copy signed by Robert and endorsed as such. Think of it as an investment for the future
Ian.
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
OK I bid £200

Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
WOW - nice one John. Now I am really going to have to go away and look at my cashflow to see if I can top this
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
It's a tough one to beat, but I suppose I'll have to go for £220
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
What is going on with this? Is it almost done? Do sneaky things happen, like when I got royally shafted when bidding for a signed Beefheart on ebay and it leapt up and beat me with two seconds to go!!!
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
My dear Mr. Rankin this draw will end on this Friday (18th September) at midnight with the rule then being that people can continue to bid but once 24Hrs has passed without a bid then the last one made is the winner....
We are currently upto £220 and the bid is with Random
Re: Retromancer Charity Auction
