Edit: to add I can't seem to find it now, maybe it was in an interview, he did say all his sports cars and the bike were sold he just keeps one for getting about in.

I remember seeing a TV version years ago... <Wikis> 1996!?!? Where does the time go? Door was quite attractive, but I struggle to remember much else of it!
Have just finished Doughnut by Tom Holt (OK, but seems to be a retread of a lot of his other books), and Amtrak Wars: Cloud Warrior by Patrick Tilley (interesting, might have to get hold of the rest in the series).
I "Never"saw the TV show, nor heard the radio series, so it's all new to me
